Our Meat
Our butcher Don from Rowntree Meats sources the best hybrid breed beef from Greenham Farms in Tasmania. The pork comes from Barkers Creek (Bunya Mountains area). The chicken is from the Hinterland and the Lamb is sourced from Victoria (known for it's quality lamb).
Our Fruit and Vegetables
Our fruit and vegetables come fresh from the markets the day we order them from Maleny Harvest.
Spices
Most of our spices are from Herbies Spices (an Australian company) who take great care to make sure the spices are really fresh to maintain maximum flavour.
Our Dairy products
Our milk for coffee and desserts is from the well known Maleny Dairies just down the road from our African Bistro. The milk is derived from Guernsey cows which makes for a rich and creamy milk and the best cream you will taste. Almost as thick as butter. www.malenydairies.com.au
Seafood
All the seafood is caught in Australian waters and some just off shore of Caloundra or Maroochydore.
Sausage
Our Boerewors, Biltong & Mrs Balls Chutney is sourced direct from Springbok foods on the Gold Coast & is the finest example of this traditional South African delicacy. www.springbokfoods.com.au
